Wild outdoor party with classmates. Italobrothers never die

There is four days to Sofie and I are going to Tokyo.

At this hour we have arrived in Helsinki and have to wait 6 hours to get on the next airplane to Tokyo.

It is going to be so cool to get there but still: We are going to be sooooo lost.

And we will probably get tired of not having the ability to communicate with people there because there is as good as no one who speak or understand english there :/

  Last night was a party outdoor with my classmates where I got a chance to say goodbye to some of them before the great trip to Japan. Did not know how I got home but I did came home safe. Never ever mix beer with wine and some other spanish alcohol.. The next day you just have the feeling that someone kicked you in the head. Jesus.. 

Asian culture in DK

The Asian Culture Festival took place in Aalborg for a weekend.

Having the party at my place friday and sleeping through saturday stopped me from going to the festival but my mum and I went sunday. Expecting some show from different asian cultures and workshops where you could make different asian culture stuff and of course some delicious food from asian countries! 

The admission was 75kr pr grownup and 50kr for students. 

It all took place in Karolinelund, a former tivoli that has been made into a public place to come and go as you want to but not this weekend. The normal entrance to Karolinelund was closed so we walked to the other side and found our way in. They took credit card.

When we came inside we actually got a bit disappointed. There were no asian decorations at all and on the internet they promised art and there were none. There were some tents from Korea and Thailand and Bangladesh and China but not from Japan - We did not find any workshop. 

But you could do some Chinese signs and letters, get your name spelled with Chinese letters by a guy and get face painted by some sweet Chinese people. You could make and decorate your own pointy hat with paint and have some tea in the traditional way of Korea. You could buy things from Thailand and taste/buy candy and very good food from Thailand. 

Actually the main attraction was food. In the biggest tent there where all kinds of different and very fragrant food from everywhere in Asia.

The food was so good! But there were no costumes or funny music. 

A bit of a disappointment buut the food was worth the trip and we had small chats with very sweet and outgoing asian people.

Goodbye

For a whole year we have had an exchange student from Mexico and the 28th of June she is going home. Therefore I invited my classmates home for a garden party. We are 25 in my class and 12 came. Very good actually because I live 45 minutes from everyone. 

The party was with dinner, a little bit of drinking and I had planned to stay outside but from 10 in the morning - I woke up at that time - until 5 in the evening it was raining. At the fireplace there is a canopies where we could stay without getting too wet but the fireplace was not covered and with the rain and all I was not at all sure about the chances of staying outside. But as unpredictable the weather can be the sun came just when I had rearranged the whole thing so I changed it back to two tables and all the chairs. And then came my classmates..

 We ate a lot of meat, salad and chips with my homemade dip and we roasted marshmallows with biscuits. One of my friends that arrived at the "party" had his 18th birthday when the clock turned 12 and then he had to drink a disc. Well it is actually something you have to do at your first party with the ultimate team, but he had not had the chance to do it earlier and then we forced him to do it ;) haha

A disc is four beers and the record in our team is 28 seconds!

Anyway he drank it all in more than 2 minutes. Haha but he did it and had a hard time afterwards keeping the beer inside! 6 people drove home in the middle of the night because they had to go to work the next day and five of us who was staying at my place slept outside under the canopies. 

What a night! :)
And.. We did make sure our mexican student got off with a proper danish party which includes a lot of eating - we find that lovely - a lot of drinking - we too do that a lot - and of course the danish weather; always unpredictable! 

10 things when bored

We all know to get bored at home when you have a holiday or a weekend when there is nothing to do!

To give you inspiration here is 10 things to do at home when the day not yet is over and it seem too long to be over:

1st thing

Learn your dog new tricks

She use to run around, want to shake things like sunglasses of her. So it was cool just to get to put them on her. I tried to put a bite of food on her nose.. But she was just.. "I am going to eat it". That did just not work .. Even though I tried so many times

2nd thing

Make your own album with pictures and text about old times

So nice to look at it

Well I desided to make this album. It did not cost me so much and when I look back on the with my friends and what we did I cannot stop smiling. It is so cool to have a real photo album instead of have to look at them in Facebook. Do it too!

3rd thing

Make disgusting food and eat it

Chips and cod roe + cinnamon + salt + old rice - haha nasty

Well it tasted like it sound! It is just not something I am going to try again. haha.

I took a hat over my eyes and picked the things from the refrigerator and from the spice-drawer

Hope you get some nasty things out of it

4th thing

Decorrate your bathroom-wall with paint or pencils

Making a beach in my bathroom

It is going all good and I am thinking that I will make a beach with a jungle!

My inspiration is Belize, a country near south Mexico where I am going to do an adventure guide-education! So cool and I just love the sea and jungle! So that is what I am going to paint

5th thing

Learn to do some origami

A bird-origami

I tell you! It took like 5 minutes. And now I am all hooked on doing more!

I am thinkg on making a lot of different ones and then hang them up in a empty corner in my bedroom!

6th thing

Find a random cake-recipe and make it

I made lemon cupcakes.. I have never made cupcakes before so I sure looked forward to make them.

Cake:
75 g cream cheese
3/4 tsp vanilla
100 g sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
50 g butter
1/2 juice from a lemon
75 g flour

Mix sugar, eggs, vanilla and butter together until it is white.
Mix cream cheese and lemon juice in it.
Put the flour and baking powder in and mix it all until it is a dough
Put the dough in small molds and bake them for 20 minutes in 175 degrees.

Topping:
75 g butter
25 g cream cheese
25 g icing sugar
1/2 juice from a lemon
Grated zest of a whole lemon

Mix cream cheese and icing sugar together and butter together
Put the lemon pieces in the topping and mix it for a minute

When the cake is cold come the topping on and eat

Take on a funny hat and walk around with it

Many people look at it when I walk around with it on and I do not blame them. haha!

Do something you never have done before

Drinking from a cow-horn! Got this on a marked and bought it when I was 10

and a bigspender :) Haha. It is actually good to drink from!

I am going to use it as my new "shot-glass" - getting drunk fast? I do believe so

Well.. Not much of a danish wilderness! Not in my garden though hehe. And I suddenly got lazy and just walked around the garden and not in the tree-cluster growing near me
