Going on a sunday stroll

Something had to happen today. A group of us had watched movies both Friday and Saturday till very late, so there had to be something more active on such a nice Sunday as today. Therefore, I wrote a status on the schoolhome's communal facebook page if there was someone who wanted to go on stroll. In about 20 minutes, I collected 5 other fresh people who were with me on taking a walk into the center of Aalborg to see if something happened there.

Of course I had taken my camera with me because the day was perfect to take pictures, and the ones I went with on the stroll loved to make all sorts of stunts and strange things to get pictures of it. We went at 1 PM and on the walk there were some of us that went under some signs, some that had to see if you could get up on a silo and even gather some strange things and do something with them, but we had it all pretty funny with it all.

At Nordkraft and the new concert hall there is an area where you can skate, play volleyball, climb some ropes and jump / sit on some big rocks. Here we held just a little "rest" where we "skated" on a cocoa carton, jumped on the rocks and some of us were up in the ropes as well. We had a lot of fun with the things and then we walked along the water and into the center of Aalborg.

The Christmas City was opened! Those of us who know about The Christmas City discovered, with delight and joy, that The Christmas City is far greater than it has been in other years.
Even at one of the first booths we stopped because there were some cash who wanted something. One of my friends bought a Picatu-hat, which already came on after the purchase. Some had to have a little Christmas candy, and us poor people had to make do with taste tests on some roasted strawberries- , cocoa- and regular almonds. There was a delicious Finnish booth where there were some cool sweaters.
We concluded that we had to get back and do a little shopping when the money was in the account again and it is happening in fortunately not so long time.

On the way home we went into Karolinelund, the former amusement park, which is now a park where you can play, relax, run on BMX, etc. A group of people had chosen to pain the on the ground, and that we wanted to see. We also passed by a lot of graffiti. Some of it was quite comical and otherwise really nice.

All in all a super great day that went by quickly since the trip took just over 3 hours. We all agreed that people who had turned down the trip, had missed a whole lot!
